PADEM Progettazione Automatica Dispositivi Elettro Magnetici-Automatic Design of Electro Magnetic Devices
Primo semestre - First Semester
The course aims to give students the knowledge required for the practical use of modern design tools able to solve electrical and magnetic fields problems through learning appropriate computer codes currently used for this purpose. The student improves his knowledge about the opportunities offered by this modern design tools and at the same time their limitations. The course includes a series of computer exercises. During the numerical laboratory, students are trained to use a commercial FEM code for solving all the problems as listed in the program. Some simple practical experiments are also developed in order to verify the calculation results.
