Donation in memory of Leonardo Turri

Roberto Turri and family are grateful to all of you who contributed to the donation in memory of Leonardo. More than 5000 Euro have been raised and given to the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem.

See the video of the visit during the July 2009 pilgrimage to the Holy Land of some parishioners of Arcella (Padova) who brought the donation to the Hospital.

More than 100,000 children four years old or younger live in the Bethlehem / Hebron region alone; for all of Palestine, the figure is above 500,000. For these children, not even basic health services are routinely available. This is why the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem is vital to the region's health care system. It is the only paediatric hospital in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip together.
